Le Cure is devastated to announce that Richard Viney, an experienced cyclist and beloved friend, died on Thursday 26 August 2021 in a road traffic accident in France, whilst completing his fifth year as a Curista.
His loss is incalculable. Our only consolations at this horrendous time are that he died doing something that he loved and that his loss will inspire us to redouble our efforts for the cause that he believed in so wholeheartedly.
We will miss him beyond words. Our thoughts are with his family.
Enjoy. It is a privilege to cycle in such beautiful surroundings (even if it is hard work on occasion).
