Simon will be participating in Le Cure 2026 and will attempt to cycle 397 kilometers and climb 10,059 vertical metres.

Cycling Experience:

Just completed the Fred Whitton in the Lake District, so pretty happy about that....but know I have to repeat that day after day for LeCure....which is daunting.

Biggest Fear:

Weirdly, I really hate dams, so am desperately hoping we don't have to ride past or over any in France.....I may have to learn to ride with my eyes shut!!

Reason For Doing This:

In memory of my wife Sarah who was diagnosed 20 years ago in 2006, and who worked with -and was cared for- by the wonderful Royal Marsden. Our family know just what a difference the research and treatments Le Cure makes, precious years. I ride with gratitude, love and pride.
