  • Mike Smith

  • Vétéran

Since starting Le Cure, Mike has cycled the equivalent of the height of Mount Everest 4.89 times, and cycled around the m25 9.05 times! That's 43,281 vertical metres and 1,701 kilometres.

Husband, dad of two, entrepreneur and keen cyclist touched by the heartfelt stories of those affected by breast cancer and the phenomenal research that Le Cure has helped to fund. Every penny raised goes to fund the research and this year I will be matching donations up to £2,000 so please sponsor me for this worthy cause.

Le Cure Highlight:

Descending the Col du Galibier with Mike F and Dan P having gone through and got ahead of a torrential storm.

Toughest Moment:

Thunder, lightening and strong headwinds approaching the top of Col du Galibier at 2642 meters. ...or maybe getting up for the transfer home after enjoying the end celebrations a bit too much.

Top Tip

Ride in your heart rate zone. Be mentally strong. Remember to drink and eat. Keep turning those pedals. Be nice to the support team (even in your darkest moments). Remember to smile. Don't give up!
