Since starting Le Cure, Matt has cycled the equivalent of the height of Mount Everest 9.34 times, and cycled around the m25 14.51 times! That's 82,600 vertical metres and 2,728 kilometres.
I don't like climbing up mountains, but the Prof makes a very good case as to why it is important to do so!
Seeing just how red Poots’ face was at the top of each mountain (when he used to do Le Cure....). That and the post ride beers each day...curista camaraderie!
Four seasons in one day climbing the Telegraph and the Galibier in 2019 ....... or the near 40 degree heat climbing up the start of bloody Alpe d’Huez every bloody year!
Find someone your own pace and ride with them - it makes it easier if you can chat to someone on the way up - you will be riding for a long time each day. Also worth downloading some podcasts to listen to out of one ear in case you do end up on your own! Finally, under no circumstances believe Paddy when he says that a daily dose of Green Chartreuse is mandatory....

Hi! Please let me know if you have any feedback about the Le Cure website. I may or may not get back to you, so I wouldn't expect a response if I were you. Keep in mind I do have a full time job, so changes to the site might not be done right away.
Thanks,
Kevin (website guy)
