Since starting Le Cure, Laura has cycled the equivalent of the height of Mount Everest 1.34 times, and cycled around the m25 2.18 times! That's 11,826 vertical metres and 411 kilometres.

Cycling Experience:

I love to cycle! Not only is the quickest way to get around London on a day-to-day basis, it gives me freedom, time for me to reflect and recalibrate on what the next destination holds.

Ive taken part in a number of sportives including the Maratona, the Etape de tour and Yorkshire Prestige but this will be by far the biggest challenge of my life and my first multi stage event !!!!

Biggest Fear:

Getting cold. I really hate being cold!!!!

Reason For Doing This:

This is a real personal challenge and something I hope to embrace. Cycling with others is so rewarding - helping one other through the dark times and celebrating the achievements together. Doing it for such a great cause brings an added dimension! As a breast surgeon I see the impact breast disease has on the lives of so many. Seeing the advances in medical treatments through research and the impact that has on survival and quality of life is so incredible
