Kay will be participating in Le Cure 2026 and will attempt to cycle 397 kilometers and climb 10,059 vertical metres.

Since starting Le Cure, Kay has cycled the equivalent of the height of Mount Everest 6.23 times, and cycled around the m25 10.55 times! That's 55,092 vertical metres and 1,983 kilometres.

Le Cure Highlight:

First Le Cure - the camaraderie and supoort which more than made up for not seeing any scenary (white out, after white out, after....seriously all my summit pictures were the same..me next to a sign surrounded by cloud!). Also the flood of emotion on reaching the top of Alpe D'Huez. Second Le Cure - amazing sunshine and views (most of the time), an equally brilliant bunch of people and some serious climbs (and descents - one in a thunder storm!)

Toughest Moment:

Getting up Alp D'Huez without stopping (to guarantee payment from one of my meanest sponsors!!)

Top Tip

Do the prep but don't be scared - it's all doable (as long as you aren't chasing Paddy or a former Olympian!) Come prepared for all weathers!
