  • Vétéran

Since starting Le Cure, Jon has cycled the equivalent of the height of Mount Everest 5.27 times, and cycled around the m25 8.33 times! That's 46,650 vertical metres and 1,566 kilometres.

Le Cure Highlight:

The whole experience - of climbing iconic mountains we see on the TDF, speeding down amazing long descents and the camaraderie of Le Cure team, all together in one common cause, to fund very promising research efforts to find ways to rid us of this terrible disease.

Toughest Moment:

Many - but you come through the other side - the bad weather of 2018, the last 500m (vertical) of Bonnette in 2017 and terrible headache after the last night party in 2017!

Top Tip

Do some training - mix of interval and long rides esp in a group - it is a fun way to get fitter. During the 4 days eat and drink on the bike a lot more than you think you need - to avoid bonking. Ride in small groups for great company (though conversation can become limited when you get to 15% gradients!).
