Le Cure Curista Profile - Jenni Martin

Jenni will be participating in Le Cure 2025 and will attempt to cycle 326 kilometers and climb 9,955 vertical metres.

Since starting Le Cure, Jenni has cycled the equivalent of the height of Mount Everest 1.18 times, and cycled around the m25 2.05 times! That's 10,413 vertical metres and 386 kilometres.

Cycling Experience:

Social cyclist, normally with Rachael my fellow débutant. Rach has encouraged me around local climbs and helped me build the confidence to take on solo rides.

Biggest Fear:

Just the one? Col de la loze followed by three more days riding - although biggest fear is probably the weather, potentially making the riding even more challenging!

Reason For Doing This:

Le Cure is an event Rachael and I discussed several times. It wasn't until a cancer diagnosis in the family that I was reminded that tomorrow isn't given. If I wanted to take on the challenge of Le Cure there is no better time than now. I will be riding in memory of my Aunt Linda who despite strength and courage did pass away to cancer earlier in the year.
