Dan will be participating in Le Cure 2026 and will attempt to cycle 397 kilometers and climb 10,059 vertical metres.

Cycling Experience:

My cycling experience started strong. A 12-day ride from Venice to Manchester on a mountain bike for a Maltese charity in 2010. Living in Malta meant training was repeated laps of the island for 16 weeks. Since then I've happily regressed. I've pedalled from London to Paris and completed the Etape several times... but not since 2016!

Biggest Fear:

The mountains! I'm hoping muscle memory kicks in... but it's been 10 years since I was in the Alps on a bike. And my memory isn't that good.

Reason For Doing This:

Cancer has taken people I love too early and close friends are fighting it right now. It's the least I can do. Oh, and those glorious mountains.
