Since starting Le Cure, Bethan has cycled the equivalent of the height of Mount Everest 10.13 times, and cycled around the m25 17.35 times! That's 89,667 vertical metres and 3,263 kilometres.

Le Cure Highlight:

Escaping the freezing fog in the nice warm hut at the top of Col de l'Iseran where there was gallons of hot chocolate on tap.

Toughest Moment:

Cycling through a ski resort (Val D'Isère) in a whiteout in August (WT actual…?), with the top 1k of the Col de l'Iseran being the nasty sting in the tail.

Top Tip

Chatting. Chat to everyone - it helps with camaraderie and pacing. And is a great distraction from the sheer agony.
