2020 was a year full of surprises and when less than ten days before Le Grand Depart the UK Government announced a quarantine of those arriving from France Le Cure de France became Il Curo d’Italia. An entirely new route route was rustled up that started in Switzerland and climbed over Le Grand St Bernard pass into the Aosta Valley. A small but stalwart band of Curistas managed to raise in excess of £200,000 bringing the total raised to date to an astonishing £1,758,141! The need for targeted research has never been more imperative with the disruption to diagnosis and treatment caused by the Covid Pandemic.
