Le Cure Classic

Being the logistical and emotional heart of Le Cure, it’s only right that our first UK event should set off from London finishing with a lap of the storied Herne Hill Velodrome in true Paris-Roubaix style.

A challenging route through the Kent Hills, this will be a one-day festival of everything that makes Le Cure great: ordinary people taking on an extraordinary challenge, clad in pink. Once the cycling is done, Curistas are invited to join us for food, drinks and racing at the Velodrome into the evening.

The Classic is 100km long, including 1500m of climbing and taking in Toys Hill, Exedown Hill and Star Hill to get the legs burning.

If the Classic challenge isn’t enough for the hardened cyclists out there, the Le Cure Classic Extra (140km and 2200m of climbing) will push you that bit harder and further. Choose wisely though, the Extra is for the most dedicated and fit cyclists only – as well as the extra kilometres and extra vertical metres to test the legs, all riders must finish their lap of the velodrome by 4.45pm!

In advance of the event riders will receive an Event Guide including details on parking, routes, food and drink stops, safety and much more.
