Le Cure is a charitable club with events throughout the year:
Le Cure de France
Our main event is an annual cycle ride for 4 days of cycling up some of the Tour de France’s toughest climbs:
- Where: the French Alps
- When: Tuesday 20 to Sunday 25 August, 2024
- Cost: £1200 – £1500 depending on human/bike transfer options and the accommodation you stay in/whether you share a room. Overall the cost includes:
- Transfers (option to exclude)
- Bike transfers (option to exclude)
- Accommodation (we try to stay overnight in the same hotel but where this is not possible and there is a choice you may indicate a cost preference. In any event you will only pay for the type of accommodation you used)
- Meals, drinks, etc
- On the road support crew
- Luggage transfers
- Bike mechanics
- Your Le Cure 2024 cycling jersey
- Last night party
- Who funds it: you do. Every penny raised for Le Cure goes directly to the ring fenced Le Cure fund at the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity to fund breast cancer research at the Royal Marsden Hospital. The ride is entirely self-funded by the Curistas, who also raise money for the Le Cure fund at the RMCC.
- Fundraising: we do not have an enforced minimum, but ask all Curistas to make the biggest effort they can to raise money
- Who can do it: Curistas range in age from 18 to 80
