Le Cure does the House of Lords

Lord Kerr of Tonaghmore hosted a lunch fundraiser in the Supreme Court and House of Lords in December for some donors and potential Curistas for Le Cure ’15. With the average age being well over 60, we salute them.  Derek Holden turns 82 in March, but is still playing competitive tennis and waterskiing, so we may well have our oldest participant if we can get him to commit.  After the good food and excellent wine at the Lords he seemed tempted…  Come on Derek!

Other generous souls who contributed that day include Alistair (who will take little persuading to do the ride in his kilt) and Mike who is keen to show us southerners what training on the Col de Buttertubs will do for you.

A huge thanks again to Lord Kerr for his time and generosity.  A great way to help kick start our fundraising for the second year of Le Cure’s research fellowship.
