As with all great endeavours (ahem), Le Cure was born out of red meat, red wine, and four friends the wrong side of thirty trying to do a good thing. Tony Butler, Dan Shute, Paddy Kerr, and Alex Gowar were moved to get off their behinds and on to their newly-bought bikes by their friend Marianne’s breast cancer diagnosis.

Now Marianne is completely healthy, and every year an ever larger group of people take to the road to attempt something completely insane, in the hope of creating more and more happy stories, just like Marianne’s. Proudly and stubbornly, Les Founders still look nothing like cyclists.
