Dan Defeats Ditchling

The photo of a disconsolate Dan Shute holding up the traffic as he trudged to the top of Ditchling Beacon back in May became something of a pin up for Le Cure de France; a prime illustration of what a huge challenge the Le Cure de France team faces when we hit the Alpine climbs in September.

We are delighted to say at the second attempt – and with Le Cure only a month away – Dan made it up! The group taking on the London to Brighton ride yesterday got a little taste of what’s to come in September with a >100km ride punctuated by a couple of obligatory mechanicals, rain, an exploding tyre and a 15km detour…
